I&#8217;ve also noticed that with professionals managing the planning and logistics, I can really immerse myself in the experience.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">I think group trips are especially ideal for independent travelers\u2014those of us ready for adventure but lacking a travel companion.\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"p1\">With that in mind, I&#8217;ve curated a list of *women&#8217;s tours in some of the world&#8217;s most beautiful and fascinating places (*some of these tours are for women only; others are open to anyone).<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Most of these trips are to countries I\u2019ve visited and loved: France, Portugal, Croatia, Cyprus, Italy, Nepal and India.
